    CHAPTER-3    We awake abruptly to the sound of pounding on the door. Natalia must have returned, no one would disturb us otherwise. We rouse ourselves quickly and find Natalia’s first officer waiting outside our door.    “Natalia requests that you report to her immediately,” he says flatly.    “Very well,” I respond.    He turns on his heel and leaves. Ryka and I walk in the opposite direction, to Natalia’s room. As we approach her room, we can hear the sounds of arguing from within the room. That doesn’t bode well.     CHAPTER- 2    I open my eyes and quickly look around at my surroundings. I see the bodies of both Humans and Nextgens alike, everywhere. As I stand up, I find that my entire body is okay, even if a bit bruised. Looking through the hole in the wall that the suit had made using my body, I see that the attackers’ boarding ship is gone. Hopefully that means they decided against continuing to attack us.    I manage to locate what appear to be the remains of the suit. Good, we at least managed to destroy that piece of junk. I hear someone groan in pain and look quickly for the source. I find Toran under a couple human bodies, injured

    CHAPTER 1    As I walk down the corridor, I can’t help but wonder why I am called to the medical section of our ship so much more often than normal. I’m not the only one either; there are a large group of us. It seems like it’s only those of us who were made from the experiments that have been going on for years now. I, and those like me are officially called Nextgens, but what we are just depends on who you’re talking to. The scientists on this ship have been trying to make some kind of super human by selecting certain traits from random people on board. I can’t say I blame them, the human race is dying. W
